March 17 Wednesday 8:15 AM | Veterans' Roundtables
The Korean War Group meets on the first Wednesday of the month. World War II veterans meet on the third Wednesday. Meetins start at 9:15 and are accompanied by coffee and sweets. Newcomers are always welcome to join either group and share thier reminiscences. Location: Small Meeting Room. |

Meetings of a support group for caregivers of children with mental illiness, diagnosed or undiagnosed, take place in the Small Meeting Room from 9:30-11:00. Join the WPL Fourth Monday Book Club for a discussion of Ellington Boulevard by Adam Langer. A rent controlled apartment links a group of quirky tenants, including a soon-to-be-evicted clarinet player and his pooch, Herbie Mann. Langer has written a clever, funny ode to Manhattan and its colorful characters. Location: 1st Floor Fiction Room. |

Interested in creating your own computer games, animations, digital stories or applications? Join the Game Design Club and demonstrate your recent projects, share tips and tricks, meet professional game designers and programmers, and help plan gaming and robotics competitions at the Library.

Indivdual 30-minute career counseling sessions are avalible on the first Wednesday of the month between 2:00 and 4:00. There is no change for this service offered by the Jewish Vocational Service; is it available regardless of religious affliation and at any range of your career. Please join us for a lively discussion of Wandering Star by J.M.G. Le Clezio. Last year's Nobel Prize winner, Le Clezio often writes tales of survival that are realistic and yet hauntingly romantic.
