Cardholder Privileges: E-Mail Notification

With your Wilmette Public Library Card you can now receive e-mail reminders of your upcoming due dates, and notice of the availability of your reserved titles.

How to Activate E-Mail Notification

Follow these easy steps to activate e-mail service for your account. For assistance, contact the WPL Information Desk at (847) 256-6947.

  1. Using your computer or an online terminal in the library, access the WPL home page at www.wilmettelibrary.info
  2. Click on "My Account"
  3. Click on Register my e-mail address
  4. Enter your barcode (your library card number)
  5. Enter the password "patron" (or your new password if you have changed it)
  6. Enter and then re-enter your e-mail address
  7. Click on Submit after you have read the consent statement
