  • Behind the Scenes at the Northlight Theater- White Guy on a Bus

    When: Tuesday, February 03, 2015 - 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
    Where: Auditorium

    Members of the cast and other artists from Northlight Theatre will share scenes as well as experiences working on their current show. A wealthy white businessman and a struggling black single mom ride the same bus week after week. As they get to know each other, their conversation reveals a complex web of moral ambiguity, revenge, and racial biases. This world premiere play provides a candid and surprising perspective on the racial and socioeconomic divide in the education and criminal justice systems, and the pervasiveness of stereotyping across race, class and gender lines.   • Korean/Vietnam War Roundtable

    Korean/Vietnam War veterans hold regular meetings from 10-11:30 at the Library. Conversations are lively, the coffee plentiful and participants rarely miss a meeting. Newcomers are welcome.

  • ADHD Support Group

    Where: Auditorium

    Attend an informal, non-judgmental forum to discuss ADHD. Learn and share strategies and resources, or come just to listen. The group's facilitator, Wilmette resident Dale Davison, holds a Master's degree in special education; she is a board certified ADHD coach and consultant.
