Call for Makers

Wilmette Public Library’s Maker Fest is looking for local Makers! We’re seeking businesses, schools, clubs, or individuals who teach, create, or advocate for do-it-yourself activities in art, design, or technology. This will be a great opportunity to connect with other area Makers of all ages. You’ll be able to show off the work you’re passionate about and teach others how to do it, too, strengthening our collaborative Maker community.

At Maker Fest, participants will exhibit and demonstrate what they do, and offer hands-on activities for attendees. The activity may be a short project to complete and take home, or a chance to experiment with your project.

Presenters are required to staff their table for the entire event. They are not permitted to sell merchandise at the event but are welcome to distribute marketing materials.

If you would like to participate, please fill out an application. Applications must be submitted by 9 a.m. on Monday, December 3. We will let you know if you’ve been accepted into the event by Monday, December 17. (Due to our limited space, we may not be able to accommodate all groups.)
