Wilmette or Kenilworth residents are entitled to a Wilmette Public Library card for personal use. Cards are issued to an individual, not to households.

For children under High School age:

Children under high school age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (with an ID showing their current address) when applying for a card. A parent or guardian is required to sign the child's registration, thus accepting financial responsibility for all materials checked out to the child.

I already have a card from another library:

The Wilmette Public Library honors all valid public library cards. If your card is from outside of the North Suburban Library System, identification with a current address is required.
