About Online Resources
A database is an organized collection of information. Our Library pays for databases for you to use. We have reliable encyclopedias, newspapers, magazines, and more, all of which you can access online, for free, from library computers or your computer at home. Click here for a complete alphabetical list of our databases.
A website can be created by anyone using the Internet. It is important to know who created a website before you use or believe the information you find. The websites listed on here have been reviewed by Wilmette librarians.
An eBook is a computerized version of a book. Once you follow the link to an eBook, click "Table of Contents" for a list of the articles in the book, or use the search feature or Index to find what you're looking for.
