Obituaries

Obituaries from local newspapers are indexed online for the years 1890, 1894, 1896-1897, 1900-1902, 1905, 1912, 1914 and 1978-2005. More are being added on a continuing basis. Notebooks of un-indexed obituaries are kept in the Local History Room.

The newspapers are available on microfilm at the library. Patrons outside Wilmette can e-mail the Reference Librarians for assistance in obtaining copies..
