The library has both electronic books and downloadable audiobooks for Wilmette and Kenilworth residents. These collections are available through NetLibrary. You can access NetLibrary from this page, or from the WPL database page. Once you have accessed the Netlibrary site, you will be asked to enter your library card number, without any spaces.
In order to checkout an audiobook or view an ebook for an extended period of time you will be asked to register with NetLibrary. You will need to create an account and get a login and password from NetLibrary. The "create an account" feature is in the upper right hand corner of the NetLibrary home page. If you prefer, you may request that the library create an account for them either in person or by phone.
From the NetLibrary homepage you will be able to search and view the full text of all the NetLibrary eBooks in the library's collection or listen to a preview of an audiobook from this collection.
iPod users: iPods users are limited to audiobooks available in MP3 format. For technical details regarding file formats that are playable on iPods, see the NetLibrary requirements page.
