Health and Wellness Resource Center
A one-stop resource for health information from magazines, journals, reference books, and pamphlets. The full-text of many of the periodical articles is available online and may be printed out or emailed to another location. Links to specially selected websites also are provided. Library and remote access (with valid Wilmette or Kenilworth library card number).

Medline (through FirstSearch database; call 847-256-6935 for login & password )
Index with abstracts to thousands of articles from medical journals. Library and remote access (contact library for login and password).

Physicians' Desk Reference Electronic Library (use IE browser)
Includes the authoritative PDR drug handbook, a drug interactions search feature, a dictionary of herbal medicines, and Stedman's Medical Dictionary. In-library use only.
