Game Design Club

WPL's Game Design Club will meet on Monday, December 8 at 5:00 to discuss upcoming programs, including Club-sponsored gaming tournaments and instructional workshops. The Game Design Club meets on the first Monday of every month.

Anime Club - November 22 @ 10:30 a.m.

For all you animeniacs in grades 6 and up, come join us for the next anime club meeting when we'll be viewing the popular anime/manga series Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu (rated PG-13). Following the film we're holding an open Playstation 2 party. Gameboy DS's are also welcome! Traditional Japanese snacks such as Pocky will be provided.

Discussion: Stephenie Meyer's Twilight

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, a popular vampire romance, is the topic for a teen book discussion in the Youth Program Room. What happens when Bella falls in love with a vampire? Participants must read the book in order to attend. Refreshments served. Sign up at the Adult Reference Desk or call 847-256-6935 starting Tuesday, September 23. The first ten participants will receive a free book that will be available at the Adult Reference Desk.

Teen Advisory Board Meeting

Next meeting is Sunday, October 5, at 4:00 pm. We're ready to look at new projects and ideas. Also, we'll be talking about the Media MashUp grant and how teens at Wilmette Public Library will be involved.
