Join a summer reading club, and enjoy good books and fabulous prizes.

Adult Club

Between May 28 and August 31, visit the Recent Arrivals Desk for your sign-up gift and reading log for your completed books. Read or listen to any six books, and as a completion prize you’ll get to select a book from a variety of new and popular titles to take home and keep.

Yoga Glow & Flow

Saturday, June 8, 2:00
Join North Loft Yoga as they lead yogis of all levels in a yoga basics flow in the dark with glow sticks, glow bracelets, and other space-theme illuminations. Yoga mats will be available for use, or participants may bring their own. Open to adults and teens. Registration required.

Teen Club

Starting May 29 and ending August 31, pick up your reading log and sign up gift at the Recent Arrivals Desk. You can get started right away! Read 10 hours before the end of summer to receive a free book of your choosing. You can read anything for this club; books, comics, magazines, online articles, fanfiction, and even audiobooks count.

Kids' Club

Get ready to explore new worlds with your friends at the library! Pre-readers and independent readers through grade 9 can pick up a reading log in the Youth Department between Tuesday, May 28, and Wednesday, July 31. Visiting our cosmic reporting station to show us how many days you have read (or been read to), tell us about your favorite books, add to our stellar mural, and earn free books to keep!

Family Summer Reading Celebrations

Summer Reading Kick Off Party!

Saturday, June 15, our Summer Reading Club will blast off with concerts and fun activities for the whole family! Sign up for Summer Reading and join us for some spacey fun in the Youth Services Department, 10:00-12:00. Enjoy a concert with ScribbleMonster in the Auditorium at 11:00 or 1:30. Free tickets are required for the concerts and will be available in the Youth Services Department starting the morning of the program on a first come, first served basis. Limit 8 tickets per family. Sensory Friendly Performance: 12:30-1:00.
