  • Author Talk: Richard Sobel discusses Citizenship as Foundation of Rights

    Author and professor Richard Sobel, a Wilmette native, will discuss his new book, Citizenship as Foundation of Rights, exploring the nature and meaning of American citizenship and the rights flowing from citizenship in the context of current debates around politics, including immigration. The book explains the sources of citizenship rights in the Constitution and focuses on three key citizenship rights-the right to vote, the right to employment, and the right to travel in the U.S.

  • ADHD Support Group

    Attend an informal, non-judgmental forum to discuss ADHD. Learn and share strategies and resources, or come just to listen. The group's facilitator, Wilmette resident Dale Davison, holds a Master's degree in special education; she is a board certified ADHD coach and consultant.

    Join us for a fun and interactive monthly experience that is suitable for the whole family. Come help us build, decorate, and play in a huge cardboard creation. Building ends at 10:45, but the maze will remain in the Youth Program Room until 4:00 for play and exploration. All ages.
