High school students, are you looking for leadership opportunities, ways to get involved in the local community, or a place to bring all of your awesome ideas to life? New Trier High School student Marie M. is creating a teen advisory board to work with multiple North Shore public libraries on various projects, like coming up with programming ideas, writing and creating contact for social media, improving teen spaces at the libraries, and more. Get in early and direct what the board does by coming to our first meeting, Sunday, September 7, at 1pm, in the Teen Room. There will be another meeting in October in Wilmette, but future meetings may be at other area libraries, with the eventual goal of meeting at New Trier as an afterschool club.
