Federal and State Tax Information
In 2023, you will file taxes for the 2022 calendar year. Most taxpayers will file Form 1040, and depending on your situation, you may have to complete Schedules 1, 2, and/or 3 (available for download on the IRS 1040 information page) in the event that your received unemployment benefits, are self-employed, or are seeking an education or foreign tax credit. All forms are included in the printed packets available at the library while supplies last.
While we've listed and linked to PDF forms for your convenience, we recommend you go straight to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR) pages and download directly from there to ensure you are receiving the most current forms and their corresponding instructions.
