Study Rooms

We offer four study rooms on the second floor that are available to reserve up to a week in advance. Each study room seats up to four people.

Study Room Reservation Guidelines:

  • Reservations require a valid Wilmette Public Library card number.
  • Study rooms can be booked once a day, for up to two hours, up 7 days ahead.
  • Reservations will be held for 15 minutes after the start time.

When you arrive for your reservation, check in at a service desk in Youth or Adult Services. You will need your library card for access to the room. A key card will be checked out to your account and must be returned at the end of your reservation.

Patrons with a card from any other library may not make a reservation ahead of time, but may use the rooms on a walk-in basis, dependent on availability. Non-Wilmette cardholders should visit a service desk to check availability and make a walk-in reservation.

Public Meeting Spaces

The Auditorium and Small Meeting Room are not currently available to rent by the public. Rentals will resume at some point in late 2022.

Please direct inquiries about room rentals to the Communications & Events department.
