The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel, by Sheela Chari

I really enjoyed reading "The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel". This book kept me at the edge of my seat, always wanting to know what will happen next. The story takes place at H.G. Wells Middle School, and the conflict is that there are many kids going missing all over the world. When Mars Patel's best friend goes missing, he and his other friends are determined to find out what is going on. I recommend this book for anyone who likes mysteries with lots of plot twists.

The Summer I Turned Pretty and It's Not Summer Without You, by Jenny Han

I loved both of these books. I know you are not supposed to do it in this order, but I watched the movie first and then bought all three books. I liked the books better than the movie. The books add more details. But I did think the movie was also good and can't wait for the sequel.
