Roll the Dice!
Go on adventures with an intrepid crew of heroes with our Dungeons & Dragons sessions.
Join our Discord server to connect with other players, participate in worldbuilding for our campaign, and chat about gaming in general. Want to build a character in D&D Beyond? We have a link to join our campaign that will give you shared access to many D&D sourcebooks and campaign guides. Registration is required for in-person sessions.
E-mail our teen librarian Krista with questions about our in-person sessions. Have some questions about Discord or D&D Beyond? Visit the sites below! Virtual library sessions through Roll 20 are on hold, but you can learn more about this virtual tabletop software below too.
More Information
For our new players who want to read a little about the basics of D&D, check out this handy guide of links and explanations from D&D Beyond.
Our current campaign is called "Guards! Guards!" This is a homebrew campaign set in the magically flying city-state of Lothian. This campaign is designed to be flexible and adaptable, with linked short adventures planned by a number of different Dungeon Masters but all taking place in the same world. Player characters are all Lothian Royal Guards who go on a variety of exciting missions. Read more about our world-building here.
The "Guards! Guards!" campaign starts at Level 3, and you level up the more you play! You can bring your own Level 3 character to start, or you can ask for a pre-generated character that I have available. We use D&D Beyond for our digital character sheets; after you join the library's campaign, you will also have access to the full digital library of D&D books.
You must be a member of our Discord server and have participated in at least three sessions of gaming with us. Then, you can fill out this Google form to apply and describe the adventure you'd like to run.
