Earlier this month, school engagement librarian Eti visited D39 elementary schools to celebrate World Read Aloud Day and promote our Winter Reading Club, sharing hilarious picture books, getting fabulous reading recommendations from young readers, and introducing our new library beasties to our D39 community. 

She was joined at Harper Elementary School by Youth Services librarian Sarah Jo and at Romona Elementary School by Youth Services librarian Diane, who helped make reading come alive.

Don't forget — there's still time to pick up a Winter Reading Club reading log from the Youth Desk and earn your free book! You can also print one from our website. All reading logs must be turned in by Thursday, February 29.
