Spotlight on Graphic Novels

STEAM Kit Available for Pickup!

With the "Parachutes" STEAM Kit, build, launch, and experiment with parachutes! You’ll learn how and why parachutes allow skydivers to land safely. The kits are designed for ages 4-10 and are available while supplies last. Pick up the kits inside the library, or request contactless pickup with our online reservation form by writing "STEAM Kit" in the "Do you need special assistance?" field or calling Youth Services at 847-256-6945. (You may add a STEAM Kit to your existing reservation for books and other materials.)

Winter & Holiday Book Bundles

Winter and Holiday BundlesLet the library help warm your home with seasonal stories. Tell us your children's ages and which themes you'd like (winter, Black History Month, Women's History Month, Purim, St. Patrick's Day, etc.), and we will hand-select a bundle of books for your family. Children's CDs and DVDs are also available upon request. Requests for specific items will be honored when possible; otherwise, we can place a hold for you.
