Join our Library Crawl this April in celebration of National Library Week. Starting April 1, pick up a Library Crawl bookmark at either Glencoe Public Library, Wilmette Public Library, or Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District.

Our public computers have moved to the Reference Area of the library! You'll be able to access all of the same services that were available in the Technology Center, including internet and word processing, printing, faxing, and scanning.

October 15-21 is Friends of Libraries Week, and we're excited to celebrate the Friends of the Wilmette Public Library! The Friends are an organization that support the library through advocacy and fundraising, supporting and promoting library services and events.

Warren-Newport Library District is joining the CCS library network! From Friday, September 1 through Monday, September 4, our online services will be limited as more than 300,000 items are added to the catalog.

How it works:

For the fourth consecutive year, Wilmette Public Library has been awarded Five Stars in Library Journal’s annual evaluation of public libraries.

Four seats on the seven-member Wilmette Public Library District Board of Trustees will be open for the Tuesday, April 4, 2023 consolidated election. All of the seats will be for a full four-year term expiring in April 2027.
